Dear list members,
If you receive an email from someone today that contains an attached file
which has a double file extension such as mp3.pif or doc.scr, and other
variations, DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHED FILE.
There has been a new virus found named W32.Badtrans.B@mm.

W32.Badtrans.B@mm is a MAPI worm that emails itself out using different file
names. It also creates the file \Windows\System\Kdll.dll. It uses functions
from this file to log keystrokes.

The return email address is a valid email which is preceeded by an
underscore, _. You might want to notify the person whose computer has the
virus which caused the email to be sent to you. Just simply reply and delete
the preceeding underscore in front of their email address.
Once again, do not open the email attachment. Delete the email from your
computer.
