Hi Marilyn
This is in response to your question as to whether the Callison web is
very active. It is not as active as I would like it but am appreciative
of what is received from it. I received some information on my Callison
line yesterday that almost blew my mind . I had been trying to research
my grandmother Sarah Jane Callison Lawson's family with mixed results. My
ggranfather Hiram Callison, I had nothing on him only he was my g mothers
father and I got that from the death certificate of Sarah. Also on there
was my ggrandmother Elizabeth Bonnett. It stated that both of them were
from Illinois and that my g mother was also from there. This information
has proven to be not true. On this information I received yesterday there
was a reference from you as to the birthdate of Elizabeth Bonnett. As I
have this line I have considerable information on it. Elizabeth was born
in Seal twnshp,Pike Co. OH. Jun 1822. Her father being Abraham Bonnett.
What thrilled me more was finding Sarah's brothers and sisters and also
my gggrandfather and gggrandmother Moses Callison and Catherine Bonnett.
This makes Catherine not only my gggrandmother but also my gg aunt as she
is a sister to my gggrandfather Abraham Bonnett. Also was an added bonus
of the marriage date and location of my g mother Sarah and my g father
John Wesley Lawson
I guess what I am trying to say is not to give up hope for something
will come along that will thrill you no end just like it did me
