I have been in contact with a company that does the DNA testing. The
resulting info is that if DNA is tested for known male descendants of William, Robert,
John and James Callison, sons of James and Isabella, all the DNA would be the
same. It would not differentiate if Moses, James who married Isabell Jones,
Alexander, Absolom, etc etc etc were sons of John OR William. It would prove or
disprove if Alexander, Absolom, Isaac who married Cynthia Robinson, the group
of went to Texas, William Jackson Callison, Hiram, Samuel who married
Elizabeth Downing in Ohio and any of our other unknowns were in fact descendants of
James and Isabell. Or at least, I would have to ask that question next. It
would prove or disprove if Hiram was the son of a Callison male or a Callison
female which is one plus. I will also have to ask could it show the relationship
between the two James or would it jsut show that they had a common ancestor as
we suspect anyway. So just wanted to update you. Is there any interest at all
in checking this out. Can you think of any of the early people that it might
be helpful to prove or disprove info. Is there anyone for the female line of
Margaret Callison, wife of Elisha, who might be interested in trying to match up
with Tay's Margaret Rebecca. This is probably not where she fits into the
family but it's somewhere to start. It needs more investigating to see how
accurate this would be . Take care all
