I would imagine that it will January before we hear anything. What I need is a Callison
male who was in Tennessee in 1813. I know James, married to Anne Gillespie was, but he has
pretty much been ruled out, as James Callison who at died at Goliad in Texas appears to
have been his son, and that leaves Samuel and the James who was born in Ky. ca 1808, from
what I can remember. Who was in Ky. to Tenn, then possibly on to Mo., or died and his
relatives went on to Mo. Should be very simple, right???
Would love to join you but I can't make it. Why on earth do you go to Salt Lake City
in January? I would think July would be more to my taste. I hate snow and cold weather.
Joyce

I have my annual trip to Salt Lake City planned January 11 -18. Anyone want to
join my sister and me? We are staying at the Best Western Plaza right next to
the library. Anyway, any one got any Callison ideas for me to work on. I am
going to do tax records for Orange Co, VA to see if I can find ANYTHING on Isaac
Callison who was the father of Millicent. He seems to be a phantom to me. I am
curious as to why it is thought that he only had one child -- Millicent or if
some of our unknowns could be connected to him -- I think Absolom's family
used the name MILLICENT also. Joyce, any DNA news yet? I am also going to look
at tax records in Grainger Co., TN to see if I can find ANYTHING on Jonathan
Callison who signed for James Callison to marry his third wife. I think Jonathan
signed for him but will check to make sure. Still missing William from 1796-1801
but I'm not sure that we will find any more info on him. Take care all,
Marilyn
