I am trying to prove that the James Callison who died in Greenbrier Co in
1828 (may be 1827) was the son of John Callison and the grandson of James and
Isabella Callison. James, who died in the 1800's, was known to have a sister
Elizabeth Callison Morrison and he himself was unmarried. By the time of his
death, John was probably deceased and his son, John had moved to Ohio. Anyway, I
found this land grant on the Virginia library site and wondered if anyone knew
which James this involved -- Possibly James who married Mary Callison.
