OK I am going to have to ask the experts on this one. I don't think an
upgrade to 67 markers will tell us if either John or William is the father of
Hiram -- could be James Jr or Robert for all we know. We can only ascertain at
this point that he had a common ancestor with them in a fairly recent time
period -- James (Isabella) is the MRCA.
Hiram is at the same number of generations for both William and John so more
markers won't tell us anything.
I'll keep you posted on the DNA Newbie answers. They know EVERYTHING. I did
read tonight that the # 464 marker can be broken down more specifically in
haplogroup R1b which is the haplogroup that the Callison family belongs to --
along with 90% of Western Europe.
But the fact remains that we probably still need results from Robert and
James Jr for accuracy.
