7 have tested to 37 markers and 2 have tested to 67 markers and one has
tested on Sorensen which tests 32 markers like familytreedna
ALL match on 12 markers except one line from Moses/Ezekial-- Marker 392, all
have 13 and he has 12
James Callison II -- 3 lines tested from 1st three sons -- ? nephew of James
(James and Isabel)
John Jr. -- son of John and grandson of James and Isabel -- 2 lines tested
Hiram -- son of ?
Samuel -- son of ?
Absolom -- son of ?
Moses -- unproven son of William -- 2 lines
On Markers from 13 - 25 markers
Samuel has the most mutations BUT one of the mutation in this line is the same
as one of the lines from James II and also one of the lines from Moses.
On marker 459b, all but Samuel have 10 and he has 9.
On marker 449, all have 27 but line from James II/Gilmer has 28.
On marker 464b, all have 16 BUT line of James II/Ken, Moses/Ezekial and Samuel
have 15
On Marker 464d all have 18 but Samuel has 16 (2 mutations).
Note: Marker 464 a,b,c and d are considered fast moving mutations so they may
mutate over a couple of generations while some of the other ones mutate over
many more generations.
This is the end of the markers for one
line from James II -- so at 25 markers, we still have the following lines who
match 25/25
One Line from James II
Two lines from John Jr
One line from Moses
One line from William
One line from Hiram
One line from Absolom
and we have the following differences on the first 25 markers
One
on one line from James II - Gilmer marker 449
another line from James II -- Ken marker 464b
Two
Moses/Ezekial -- markers 392 and 464b
Four -- (may be considered as 3 instead of 4)
Samuel - markers 459b, marker 464b and 464 d (difference of 2 from 18 to 16)
Moving up to 37 markers -- the mutations are in both lines of Moses and both
lines of James II, one line from John Jr. and then two mutations from Samuel,
and Absolom
On markers 456 and 576 BOTH lines from Moses have reversed numbers from the
rest of us. Everyone else has 17 and 16 and both of Moses lines have 16 and 17
(Did the mutation start with Moses?)
On marker 456 (same as above) Samuel has 18
On marker CDYa Samuel has 38 when everyone else had 37
On Marker CDYb -- all have 38 but one line from James II/Ken has 39 and another
line of James II/Kirk has 37.
On Marker 442, all have 13 but we don't know what Absolom's is just
that it is not a match per Sorensen
=0
A
On Marker 428 Everyone has 12 except for line from John Jr./Charles who has 11
In comparing the differences, I am using the results of the majority of the
tests which is probably the ancestral line (the Most Recent Common ancestor)
which in this case is presumably the father of Anthony and James (Isabel) under
the assumption that they were brothers.
So on 37 markers, the only ones who match 37/37 are
Line from Hiram, one line from John Jr/Arthur, and line from William/Joseph
With a genetic difference of one on 37 markers
Line from JamesII/Gilmer
Line from JamesII/Kirk
Line from John Jr/Charles
Line from Absolom -- not sure about the difference in his number and the rest.
Just know that he did not match our marker number. He only tested 32 numbers.
Genetic difference of two on 37 markers
Line from Moses/James
Line from JamesII/Ken
Genetic difference of four on 37 markers
One line from Moses/Ezekial
Genetic difference of five (?six) on 37 markers
Samuel --
Note: all but two of these differences are in fast moving markers and two are
the same markers where others had mutations also.
Only two have tested to 67 markers -- both lines of John Jr and these two match
66/67. Upgrades of any of these would be beneficial. If you want to get educated
on fast moving markers -- which ones they are20and their significance -- you can
put ALLELE and the number in a google search. Like "allele 464"
Of the ones that we have mutation in -- the fast moving markers are 449; 464
a,b,c,d; 456; 576; CDY a and b.
So excluding these fast mutation, we find with the slower mutations
Moses/Ezekial with 392
Samuel with 459b
Absolom with 442
John Jr/Charles with 438
So these markers are probably very specific for these individual lines and so
far no comparisons can be made in using them since they are all different. The
only comparison between all the test is that both lines of Moses have reversed
numbers from the rest of the group on # 456 and 576.
We can assume that the mutation in Moses and in John Jr. lines happened further
downstream than Moses and John Jr because the results for the second lines from
these same people match the majority.
So what does all of this tell us -- we need more work.
So far, it looks possible that Moses himself had reversed numbers from the rest
of the family since both of his lines reflected the same thing but more testing
needed to verify this.
Looks like downstream of John Jr in Charles line there was a mutation on Marker
438 but we can't tell if this was in Charles or a son or a grandson
Info on slow moving versus fast moving markers
"16. What is the significance of the genetic20difference between
slow-moving marker mutations and fast-moving marker mutations?
The difference is how often we expect this type of mutation to take place.
Since a fast-moving marker is more likely to mutate, we can expect it to have
happened more recently. Slow-moving markers are much less likely to mutate, so
if it does mutate we have to allow more generations for it to have happened.
Of course, any mutation can take place in any generation, but some are more
likely than others. If the difference between person A and person B is a
mutation on a fast moving marker, and the difference between person C and person
D is a mutation on a slow moving marker, then our predictions of when the common
ancestor would have lived would indicate a more recent common ancestor for A and
B than for C and D."
Take care all, I hope this makes some sort of sense. Marilyn
