Yes. He descends from Thomas Miles Callison, brother to my great
grandmother. His wife has done most of the genealogy, I think, as she is
the one who corresponded with me in the past. She has a daughter who also
does research. His wife works at a library or family research center.
Don't know them personally, but I know who they are.
The line goes like this:
Absalom Callison and Ann Flack were parents of
Robert F. Callison, father of
Absalom Gillespie Callison, father of
Thomas Miles Callison, father of
Onslow Callison, father of
James Callison (born 1925)
Now the last - James Callison - has several children and one of them is
named James, as well. So, the submitter might have been the younger James.
