Marilyn -
What news!! This is the line I wanted to contact about the testing. The
second generation, though, was Robert and not Roger. Thomas Miles was a
brother to my great grandmother.
Absalom named his first son, John and his second, Benjamin, after his wife's
father. Third son was Gillespy (Gillespie).
You have made my day!

Well group, I was messing around on some of the other sites -- other
than
familytreedna.com and found on Sorensen Molecular Lab a DNA test for a
line from Absolom. I was awe struck. Now have to see how it compares with
the rest of the group. I think that the one that I used for comparison was
the line from John Jr. This particular lab tests for different markers so
out of the markers that we tested on familytreedna. Sorenson tested 31 of
the same ones. On these 31 Absolom matched on 30 of the markers. I don't
know what his results were but it was for marker 442 when we all had a 13.
Now of the markers that it did test -- the first 25 were the same on both
labs were the same and Absolom was 25/25 for that group.
On these same markers -- Absolom has exactly the same markers except for
this one as for John Jr/Arthur, Hiram and William/Joseph. This has made my
day. By the way. The line is

Gotta Go - Rena -- looks very much like William or John could be father --
take care. Marilyn
