Good morning all,
Good news. One of my male Callison cousins has agreed to DNA testing so we will have a
second son of John and Jane McClure tested. I bit the bullet for him and ordered the 67
marker test -- one that lines from Joseph, Hiram and the other line from John need to get
to see how they compare. Also Kirk from the thrice married James is going to upgrade to 37
markers.
At this point on 37 markers the previous mentioned lines are the only ones that match
37/37 so that is why they need a little more differentiation.
Joyce, any luck on your DNA quest?
We have lines from 3 sons of the thrice married James
1. Matches 25/25
2. Matches 36/37
3. Matches 35/37
All different mutations so downstream from James
We have two lines from Moses, assumed son of William
1. Matches 35/37
1 Matches 33/37
Same mutation on two markers so possibly occurred at Moses -- other two downstream of
Moses
And then the 3 lines who match 37/37-- William Sr., John Sr. and Hiram
The new 67 markers won't mean a thing until we can get the others for comparison

In this case, definitely the more the merrier. I'll keep you posted. Take care.
