This is a valid question. Many families have added or dropped the "Mc" or
"O'", etc. I also have family that has interchanged the G or the J as the
first letter spelling of their name.In the case of McClung we also feel
that McClun is the same family. While I don't know where Anthony Callison
came from, many of the people on this list trace their heritage to Anthony
Callison, b. abt 1709 in Northern Ireland. The only varient I have seen in
this family is Collison. Have some of our members seen other spellings?
