Note Location: Augusta County.
Description: 148 acres on the waters of the Calf Pasture and Little River
and joins John McCutchen on the north west side.

Part of the index to the recorded copies of grants issued by the Virginia
Land Office. The collection is housed in the Archives at the Library of
Virginia.
Now from what I can understand -- The Shenandoah River has a north and a
south fork and the South Fork further divides into the the North, Middle and
South River. Little River drains into the North River from this division.
According to online source another name for the North River is Calf Pasture so this
seems to be a pretty distinct area where the two rivers join.

You can see Little River right in the middle of your screen and the one
coming in from the top to join it -- is North River AKA Calf Pasture
