Absalom Callison (born 1777) died in St. Charles County, MO in 1833. I have
his probate records but nothing to help locate his place of birth. There
was another Callison family there. Were they there first and did he go to
St. Charles Co. because he had family there? He was not following his
wife's family because the Flacks stayed in Kentucky.

Rena asked the question a few months ago -- What were Absolom,
Nancy/Agnes,
Susannah, Benjamin and Robert doing in Kentucky with no parents. Before my
last trip to SLC, I would have thought that they went to KY from some
state
other than Virginia but it blew my mind to find Absolom in Greenbrier Co.,
VA in
1797 along with John Sr., James and Alexander -- Where did he come from

It's just a puzzle. Did anyone ever find him in St. Charles Co., MO and
did he
die after 1850 when his birthplace would have been listed.
