I checked Sallie Ann Callison McCutchan, daughter of Absalom Callison and
Ann Flack, in the 1880 census and she shows that Absalom was born in
Virginia and Ann Flack born in Kentucky.

Rena, I don't have info on another Callison family in St. Charles Co but
if
you can find who they were, I might can track them down.
In later years, you can find two Callison families interspersed in
Sedgewick
Co., KS that is probably just coincidence -- one line from Hiram and one
line from John and Jane McClure -- about 100 years after John went to Ohio
and
Hiram went to KY.
We have Moses and Alexander in the same county in Ohio
We have Absolom and Joseph in the same county in KY
Any other Callisons living in the same area that your Callison families
were
living?
Seems like Daviess Co., MO had lines from the thrice married James and
also
from Moses -- cousins.
ALL the Callisons in Clark Co., OH were descendants of John and Jane
McClure
Callison -- made research pretty easy. They probably ended up in Clark Co
because John's cousin -- John Morris, son of Richard and Jane Callison
Morris,
was already there. Wish all of the migration was that easy to figure out.
Take care. Marilyn
