Marilyn,
Sorry to hear about your Mom. I know how frustrating it can be to get good
care. It happens here in Montana, also. Keep your chin up and I'll keep
her in prayers.
Susanne

Subject: [CALLISON] Update
Good morning all, I have been out of pocket for a few weeks and not
sure
when life will return to normal. My 93 year old mom fell and broke her
sacrum
(bottom of her back) on August 19. She was in the hospital for a few days
and
then sent to the rehab from h---. While there she suffered a "significant"
heart attack and after spending a week in ICU is now in a different
rehab.
Unfortunately, she is not bouncing back as we had hoped. She is in Alabama
where
my sister also lives and I am in Mississippi. I have been back and forth a
few
times to help as I can and also been to Utah to meet a new grandbaby so
have
really been on the road. Additionally, I am taking on the rehab from h---.
They should not be allowed to care for vulnerable adults. I have some
experience in this area as an RN so feel competent to undertake this
challenge but it
is very frustrating. Anyway, my mom is hanging in to the best of her
ability
and we are thankful for each day. Please keep her in your prayers. Her
name
is Dorothy Thomas. Thanks a bunch. Take care. Marilyn
