I think I passed this by you before and I don't remember any
response so
here goes. I have an (Unknown) Callison - b. abt 1810 in Illinois son
of Moses Callison and Catherine Bonnett. I have him married to an Unknown
spouse and they had a son William. My question is could that Unknown
Callison be Henry Callison named after Catherine Bonnett Callisons father
Henry Bonnett as the next son of Moses and Catherine is named William.
Just a question for what it is worth.
Milburn, what a great source you are for Moses line of people. Thank you for
reading all of these many emails and jumping in with responses.
Now can you tell me what you know about the unknown son -- is he the same
unknown male mentioned in the census records? If so, it is possible that this was
one of Alexander's sons. I don't think that Moses would have a son born in
Illinois in 1810 because they did not go there until 1830 but the fact of
William as a first child for Moses born so long after his marriage is definitely
suspect. AND who is this unknown William -- where did you find him???
I'm hoping -- probably won't work out-- to see if we can determine any
difference in the DNA matches between John and Moses lines. Probably won't be able
to tell much until we get a line from a direct descendant of William to compare
results with. I'ld love to put Moses 100% in the line of William OR John.
Also need another one from John line to seal that line in cement. <smile>
Let me know about this unknown William. Take care. Marilyn
