Hi Gang, just got back from Montgomery and a family visit. All are well. Got the results
for the 67 markers for Hiram. We have had 3 lines tested to 67 markers -- two from John Jr
and one from Hiram. On the 37-67 markers, the two lines from John are the same but on the?
the same markers Hiram has a mutation. Now what does this mean -- not a whole lot at this
time. HOWEVER, one of the lines from William Sr. who has matched Hiram perfectly through
36 markers (along with one line from John Jr) has been upgraded also. His results will be
interesting. We cannot tell relatedness through DNA results except that it is 99%
probability that Hiram and John Jr. had a common ancestor within 12 generations and a 96%
probability in 8 generations. So who was the common ancestor. We really need to find a
descendant of Robert and James Jr to compare results for the four sons of James and
Isabel. The other closest match of the ones tested so far without clear proof of parentage
is Absolom's li!
ne. I"ld love to communicate with that person to retest at Familytreedna. We also
know that the ALL the known lines from MOSES? have the same reversal of results on two
markers. This is SO MUCH FUN. Take care. Marilyn
