born 1722 their is only 8 years difference between them maybe Anthony had 2
sons one we did not know about till now.

Subject: [CALLISON] Ireland
Going through all of my papers while in the process of moving, I found the
following correspondence from research undertaken in Ireland. Did I
already send this info? Just ignore if I did. So I think I have told you
about a gentleman who had his Callison cousin do the y-DNA test -- 67
markers-- and he is a PERFECT match with lines from John, Sr., 2 lines
from William and from Hiram. Pretty neat, huh. To make the story
interesting -- his COLLISON family came from England in the 1800's to
Bristish Columbia-- as an Anglican minister. So this suggests to me --
that James (of Isabella) may have had at least one sibling who stayed in
Ireland and migrated to England somwhere in a 100 year time period. Could
his ancestor be the William mentioned below? I got his email about the
same time that I found this correspondence. There has been mention by
early researchers that. the younger James was the only son of Abigail and
Anthony but no idea how that was discovered.
Index to Grantors 1708-1793 # 328 602 223822
Dec 13, 1770 between (1) Thomas Noble and (2) William Callison both of
Corumorgan parish of Mullabrick, Co. Armagh
In consideration of a marriage between James Callison, son of said
William, and Sarah, daughter of Richard Noble of Dennenaught in said
parish and granddaughter of said Thomas Noble (1), granted to same James
Callison the Parker piece of ground called the Moss Bank as held by lease
from John Burgess gent to (1)
Witnesses Benjamin Stewart of Annarea and Patrick Byrne of Richhill, both
in Co., Armagh
Memorial witnesses Benjamin Stewart and Parsons White clerk to John Burges
gent.
No Callison wills were proved at Armagh or in the Prerogative Court
The standard sources at the Genealogical office, including list of Armagh
freeholders in 1753 were negative
Searches in the indexes to lands in Co. Armagh proved useless for both
Corumorgan and Mullalea 1708-1810 and Ballyloghan from 1740 to 1810
Church of Ireland marriages only, excluding Presbyterian and Quaker
ceremonies
CALLISON
James and Susanna Armstrong 1842
John and Mary Maxwell 1836
Margaret and Thomas McClure 1844
Mary and James Morrow 1769
William and Anne Alban 1842
William and Eliza Murphy 1830
Church of Ireland Mullaghbrack C Armaugh begins in 1767 anc copy in Dublin
Feb 16, 1769 James Murrow and Mary Callison both of Drumorgan in this
parish
Dec 16 1770 James Callison and Sarah Noble, both of Drumorgan
No copy of baptismal or burial records were obtainable
Now theoretically, this MAY show that James Callison (of Isabella) had
some type of relationship with a William Callison who had a son named
James. The use of John, James, William, margaret and Mary in the deed and
in the marriages seems to me to be more than coincidental -- just missing
some of the puzzle pieces
