Hey guys,
I was looking at a transcription of the Crum Cemetery and it shows an
Elizabeth (wife of Wm). I copied all the Oldham's that were listed. There
isn't a mention on when the cemetery was transcribed. Hope this helps out.
The URL to the complete transcription is
http://www.rootsweb.com/~pasomers/cemetery/sh/crumoldham.htm There is an
e-mail address for the guy who recorded it so if you want to contact him you
can.

Don
You're a man ' after my own heart', as I was ready to initiate a piece about
corrections to her info on the site.
Question? - Lou's info. Is this a recent check? Reason - yrs back Duayne
had told me he searched the Crum Cem. and found no stone for her - similar
to Lou's rpt. Her husband Wm Oldham is buried in Friends Cem,[Spring
Meadows] on Rt 56. Am sure this came from Quaker records.
They were married in 1806. Source: Somerset Co Hist. Bk, [which I read in
the Windber library]. even tho it says Eliz. Calathan, dau. of Thomas
Calathan. No problem.
Elizabeth's dob. Not 1789 as site shows. 25 Dec 1784 - Source: 1800
Cen.[enum dt. 15 Aug], - 1 Fem - over 10 and under 16. She was 15 on
enum. dt., to become 16 in Dec.; so born in 1784. Also 1850 Cen - on
enum dt. was 65, to be 66 in Dec. She wasn't born in Ireland, but
America. [I'm not hard to convince ~~].

Thanks to Lou Heitlinger, I now know where the Crum Cemetery is
located in Shade Township, Somerset County between Central City and
Ogletown. This is the cemetery where Elizabeth (Callihan) Oldham is
buried. Lou found many Oldham tombstones, but none for Elizabeth. Lou
did find one old Oldham tombstone that looked like the person died in
about 1895. He also found
many
tombstones that were knocked over and in pieces. I have dates for
Elizabeth's birth and death and would like to confirm them with other
Callihan/Oldham researchers. The following is what I have:
Elizabeth Callihan
Born: 19 December 1784 - 1785, no location noted
Died: 11 April 1871 in the town (crossroads) of Crum, Shade Township,
Somerset County, PA
I look forward to additional information about Elizabeth.
