Dear Lisa, I am looking for my Haynes/Hanes line. In the 1870 census
"my"
Joseph Haynes and his brother James are with Wash Tucker. The
Tuckers
and
Calicos married and are living close to each other. Joseph's
father and
mother are in the 1860 census but have disappeared by 1870...leaving
Joseph
and James with the Tuckers. Joseph also had a sister, Rebecca. I
was
hoping to learn of a link with the Haynes/Calico/Tuckers by posting in
the
Madison County web site. Joseph named a daughter Lenore, named
after
the
next door neighbor (Leonore married a Calico). I hope this is
clear...seems
muddy as I re-read it! Thanks for contacting me! Sincerely,
Barbara
