I don't have anything in my Callaway data that shows a connection to your
father.
I am very sorry I can't help you. It must be frustrating not to know your
grandparents' identities.
I will copy this answer to the Callaway list. Perhaps someone there will
know something about your family.
My only suggestion, which you've probably tried, is to contact genealogy
societies and libraries around Elsberry, Overland, and St. Peters, Mo.
Maybe they'll have some records that will help you. The cemeteries and
funeral homes at Overland should be able to tell you of any male Callaway
who died around there around 1935. If you find a candidate and if Missouri
will let you see his death certificate, it ought to have his wife's name.
If you find a Mildred, most likely you've found your grandparents.
When the 1930 census is released in another three years, check all the
places you think they lived and see if you can find them.
