Thomas F. Calloway (III) was a son of Thomas Callaway, Jr. and wife Jude. Jude was NOT
Jude Moffat. That is erroneous information someone put out many years ago. Many people
have searched in VA and NC records for the surname of Jude, but the surname has never been
found. Thomas Callaway, Jr. died in 1819 in Knox Co., TN and had a will.
