I have recently purchased the video tape which documents the kidnapping of
the Callaway Girls by the Indians. I thought others would be interested in
knowing how to get the tape. It is entitled "Boone and Crockett - Hunter
Heroes"
and is available by calling 1-888-708-1776. Cost is $29.95 plus shipping &
handling. The tape was shown on the local History Channel by the A&E Network of
New York. I was able to get the phone number and address from our local
cable station. The address for the A&E Network is 235 E. 45th St., NY, NY 10017,
phone (212)210-1340 . However, to order the tape you call 1-888-708-1776.
The kidnapping is shown about a third of the way into the tape, and it names
the Callaway girls and the Boone girl. THe girls were in captivity about 3 days
as I understand it, and it makes me wonder whether the girls were assaulted
and whether any children resulted from that. I am wondering if there is Indian
blood in our ancestry.
The tape documents the life of Daniel Boone and Davie Crockett, and the
scenery is absolutely beautiful. Well worth the price of the tape even if the
Callaway girls were'nt in it.
Sincerely,
Marcella Callaway Cagle
