Henry Callaway of Knox Co., MO was the son of Abraham Callaway of Harrison
Co., KY. Abraham died in Harrison County as a very aged man. He came to KY
from Sussex Co., DE (territory formerly Somerset Co., MD). We have a weak
link from Abraham Callaway to the immigrant ancestor, Peter Callaway, Sr We
believe he is a son of either Samuel Callaway, or Thomas Callaway, both of
whom were sons of Peter Callaway & his wife Sarah. He is in some way
related to a William Polk whose will is recorded in Sussex Co., DE.
