I've "rescued" an old photograph album which appears to have belonged to
the
MARTELL, HALE, STEVENS, FISHER, and EVANS Families of Wisconsin and Iowa.
The album includes identified photographs along with many others only
partially identified and others which are not identified at all. Based on
limited research I was able to gather a bit of information regarding this
family and have included that information along with a listing of the

Matilda was one of 9 children born to this couple including, Frank; Sarah
A.; Mary Elizabeth; Matilda; George; Emma; Eliza; Conrad; and Rachel MARTELL
all born in Wisconsin between 1855 and 1875.

4 children born to this couple including Emma Mary; Thomas Walker; Robert
B.; and Henry Urban STEVENS all born between 1868 and 1879 in Galena, IL or
Carroll, IA. Thomas married Sarah Maria CALLAWAY (1876-1952) in 1901 in
Carroll, IA. They had one daughter, Mable STEVENS CALLAWAY. Thomas W.
STEVENS died 25 Aug 1939 in Colfax, IA and is buried in the Carroll City
Cemetery in Carroll, IA.
