Thought I would pass on this information for your research--Karen
It has been suggested that we send this message to all genealogy
lists
we subscribe to in order to get this information out. It is a
problem not
addressed enough by genealogists, in my opinion. I am also sending a
message that responds to this initial message. This is not just a problem
for New England. Jeanne J. MA

> Regarding the "fraudulent genealogy" web site, I urge each and everyone
to
spread the word on this site through other mailing lists to which
you
subscribe, making copies of the internet address to pass along or post in
locations where you do research and any other way you think of to get this
message out. It has long been a real concern about "acceptable resources"
and the fact that many/most people cannot even give their sources when
asked. It is so nice to know that someone is addressing this
problem.-----Original Message-----
