To follow up with Thomas Rue's web page go to:
http://tomrue.tripod.com/ and search for "callan" This Callan Family is
that of Hugh Callan and Elizabeth McGregor (McGrooder) of Lambertville, NJ,
whose son Richard with his wife Elizabeth ONeil went to Bethlehem, PA.
Richard had many kids, one of which was John Joseph, who had a son, Michael
Richard who had 5 kids, one of which was my wife, Eleanor Jane. Richard's
sister Mary, married Michael McGuire of Lambertville.
In your family, James and Catherine were apparently married in Ireland.
Their son John J. was born in Lambertville and was age 7 in 1860. Anna Mary
Malloy was 8 in 1860. They were married in June 18, 1876. If Annie was
your ancestor, how did you get the surname "Malloy"?
