I have CALLAN ancestors who emigrated mid 1800's, don't know exactly when,
and don't know where they came from in Ireland. They settled in New Windsor,
Orange County, New York.
Here are some names:
Patrick Callan married Mary Fitzpatrick, children (the one's I know of) are
Catherine, Patrick, Mary, Eliza, Margaret (my Great Grandmother who married
Edward J. Sheridan), George.
Son Patrick Callan married Susan Barton (1st wife who died). Their children
are Joseph, Edward, George, Mary. Patrick's 2nd wife was Matilda Dudley.
Their children are Patrick, Anna, William, Helen, Matilda (Tillie),
Catherine.
If any of this sounds familiar, let me know.
Thanks,
Ally

Thomas Callan was my great-grandfather. He emigrated from Ireland to England
about 1860's. He married CATHERINE MACKIN. He had a brother PATRICK CALLAN
(m. MARGARET BOYLAN) whose son MICHAEL emigrated to New York in 1891. Any
relatives out there?
