Mike,
I noted your cry for help and wish I could help. I have done extensive
research on Callahans and have many who migrated to TENN from NC, GA, & KY,
but I have not been able to tie your ancestor, Morgan, to any of them. I will
be glad to send you some of my info on my TN Callahans (many of whom are far
from.being completely traced) and I would be very interested in any info you
might come up with to tie them to Morgan. If we had more specific info on
Morgan's pob in TN or anything that could be traced back there, it would help
greatly.
Let me know if I can be of further help and keep in touch.

http://www.rootsweb.com/ Are any of those Tenn Callahans named
Thomas or Patrick or John, who
later moved to Alabama, specifically Walker County? John later moved to
Texas. If you have any idea that we're working on the same men, let me
know. I know they fought in the Civil War, around the Chattanooga area.
