Deidra,
I don't think Ballymichael and Kilmichael have any connect, but maybe
someone on the list can tell us whether they are close to one another.
Thanks
Alice

Hello Alice,
My great grandfather, James O'Callaghan was born in Ballymichael in 1839.
His father was Daniel O Callaghan. I don't know if this is significant or
not?

Just adding my ancestors in hopes someone on the list can add some info:
Denis Callaghan (Callahan) christened in Kilmichael in October 1862. He
emigrated to US (Boston) in 1882 where he married Julia Manning from
Coolmountain (I think?). His parents were Cornelius Callaghan and Kate
Leary. I have not found any siblings for Denis, as yet. Any connections out
there?
From the world of retirement -
Alice
