Can any kind person keep an eye open for any local transcriptions or
death
records for a Cornelius O'Callaghan born in Mallow abt 1823. Cornelius
received a pension from 1870 to 1873 when payment stopped. He was living
in the Mallow area in 1873 and I have therefore presumed he died in
Mallow. His wife was named Elizabeth (nee Kennedy) and two of four
children were named Timothy and another, Maria Josephine.

George,
Mallow is a town, located on the River Blackwater in County Cork, North of the City of
Cork. I tried to send you a map but it bounced. There are many sites on the net that will
give you a range of map's from early prints to a local modern searchable road map of
County Cork.
