Here is a web site you may find of interest:
http://oxford.library.emory.edu/eecp/
It contains photos of graduates of Oxford College, later Emory College and
even later Emory University. Included in the pictures are photos of the
three sons of James Hughes Callahan (William Jackson, Oscar Leon, and Marion
Dixon Callahan). James is the oldest son of William and Harriett Amanda
Oslin Callahan. There are also pictures of members of the Pattillo and
Turner families. These two families were related to the Callahans thru
marriage.
The site says, "The Early Emory College Class Photograph Project consists of
more than 1,110 still images dating from 1860-1911. The photographs document
the class members of Emory College in Oxford, Georgia, which was founded in
1836. Prior to the start of the project, the original albumen and silver
gelatin photographs were hung in public areas of historic Seney Hall, built
in 1881, on the Oxford College campus of Emory University. The Oxford
College campus is the original Emory College campus established in 1836 and
the predecessor of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia."
