Check your 1860 and 1870 Censuses ..... when I say it like the great
grandfather would have, it could also be Houlihan or Hollahan. But most
like Callahan. If she married INTO the family that owned the Bible, and

didn't know how to spell her name, how would they?
Unfortunately, Irish women weren't schooled. Someone spelled my
grandmother's Raftery as Raftree on her wedding certificate ... but then,
my
own wedding record from the 1960s is replete with misspellings, too!
