Ken,
I'm sorry I don't have the information you are looking for, but I do have a
question. Do you know where your Wm. Callahan was before Chambers Co., GA?
I am seeking info about MY William Callahan who shows up in Jefferson Co.,
TN records from 1798 to sometime before 1830. Perhaps the two Williams are
related. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Subject: [CALLAHAN] William Callahan of Chambers County, Georgia
In reference to carriage maker William Callahan (born 06 Mar
1811
in Jackson County, GA; died 15 Jan 1860 in Chambers County, AL).
Several places I have seen my wife's 2nd great grandfather refered
to as "J. William Callahan". In all my years of research I have never
seen any documents that showed his name as anything but William Callahan
(Callahan spelled several different ways). Does anyone have any
documentation as to his correct full name.
Thanks,
Ken Whitehead
