Greetings
Have any of you Callaghan's / Callahan's considered having your DNA
tested
to help you in your search for ancestors. There is a Callaghan
Project
that has approx 20 people that have submitted their DNA test results. I
found a Callaghan match to my DNA in Sligo. Did you know there was a
different
Callaghan Clan in the Sligo / Mayo area from the Callaghan Clan in
Cork.
Did you know you can trace the roots of your DNA back 10,000 ++ years.
See
the path your ancestors have migrated to over all these thousands of
years.
The more Callaghan's that test the better chance we will have of finding
additional clues to where we came from.
All the test consists of is taking a cotton swab stick and rubbing it on
the inside of your cheek and then mailing it back to the testing lab.
Pretty simple test and within 5 or 6 weeks you will know where your
ancestors
have been for the last 10,000 years. If you take the test, I would
suggest
you take the 67 marker test. It costs a little more but gives more
info
than some of the other tests
