Looking for info on Charles (possibly "D.") Callahan who died in Pittsburgh,
PA, in the late 1980's or early 1990's. He may have been a retired Air
Force sergeant.
Charles had an illegitimate son in Glenville, Gilmer County, WV, in 1932,
with one Azalea Woodyard, daughter of Lorenzo and Totsy Hurley (Hite)
Woodyard.
My child, 8-year old Emily, a Type I diabetic, is this Charles Callahan's
great-grandaughter.
I am interested in contacting descendants or others knowledgeable about this
Callahan line, both for information/pictures regarding Charles and his
ancestors and to ascertain whether diabetes "runs" in this Callahan line, as
the disease is virtually unheard of in any of our other family lines,
including the Woodyard line.
I am particularly interested in photos of Charles and any of his ancestors,
as I am lucky enough to have been able to have collected photos of more than
sixty of Emily's ancestors to date. I have no photos of Charles or any of
his progenitors.
Thanks to anyone on the list who may have info on Charles Callahan or his
ancestry. -- Jim Huffman, somewhere in Mississippi

William and Rachel had a son John, born poss. TN.
John's wife was Sela/Cela/Celia. I believe she may be Celia Bailey, but
have
not found anything on her line. I suspect John and Celia were married ca
1830.
Per the 1850 Sullivan Co., MO Census, John and Celia had children:
Elizabeth,
Mary (born ca 1833), Martin, William, Thomas, John, Joseph, Bailey, and
James
M. Elizabeth was born in TN, Mary - Bailey were born in IL, and James in
MO.

The relatives of my late husband who knew about Mount St. Mallory and who
went there have all died in their 40s and 50s and they are no longer here
..... maybe someone else can come up with it for you if you post on an
Ireland mail list or a Waterford mail list.
If you do get it, please get back to me. I believe it was monks and my late
brother-in-law stayed overnight there in the mid-1950s. I believe the family
farmed land that belonged to the Abbey, or else contributed their farm to
the Abbey before they left Ireland. I don't have your email address to get
back to you.
