Hello to all listers,
I apologize if some get this message several times, I sent this to a few
list.
I need help in what might be a break in a wall.
Does anyone have any information on a William CALLIHAN who married Ann
DOUGLASS on 12 Oct 1838 {from Harrison Co. Marriages 1785-1894, Wes Cochran,
pg. 89} Ann DOUGLASS might be the daughter of Levi DOUGLASS and Nancy HAILEY
DOUGLASS. {her brother might be John m. Elizabeth Lance is one of my
ancestors.}
There is a William CALLIHAN in the 1840 census for Harrison Co. Listed also
is William W. R. CALLIHAN and John CALLIHAN.
I have been looking for the father of William Frances CALLIHAN, born 1841,
he is the grandson of William W.R. CALLIHAN. Somehow or some where his
parents disappeared before 1850. William F. is enum. with W.W.R.CALLIHAN in
Barbour Co.
1850 census, and is named in W.W.R.'s will as grandson of W.W.R., and son of
William.
I am sorry if this is confusing, there are just to many Williams. If any
one has insight into this who's who I would appreciate it greatly.
Thank you all in advance,
Denise Knight
