I have compiled a website for one of my other lists. While the website is
called, Irish in New York City, it holds transcriptions that may be helpful
in your research.
I have been transcribing an old weekly NYC newspaper, the "Irish-American."
The paper is a genealogical goldmine for Irish researchers as they printed
marriage and death notices from Ireland, as well as a column called,
'Information Wanted.' This column was a place where families could advertise
for long-lost loved ones who had 'disappeared' anywhere in the US or Canada.
The ads usually list townland and/or parish in Ireland, and sometimes
immigration information.
I have transcribed and uploaded April through June 1857. The transcriptions
are fully searchable from two search engines located on the Home page:

Good luck!
Take care,
Tracy
