My ancestors moved to England during the famine around 1847 from Buttevant
(County Cork). The place in England is unknown. They immigrated to the U.S.
around 1855 to Pennsylvania. (Mahanoy City).Patrick and Mary Callaghan.

Subject: [CALLAGHAN] Callaghans from Ireland
I'm researching my CALLAGHANs who moved from Ireland to
Lancashire,
England during the famine (around 1852).
I would like to hear from anyone else who has Callaghans (or similar) who
moved to England.
Regards
Tim Callaghan
