My Dennis Callaghan was born in Ireland, I know not where. He was the second husband of my
great great grandmother, Alice (nee WARD) FINNIGAN. Her first husband was Simon FINNIGAN,
my great great grandfather. My great grandfather, Philip Finnigan was born in Ireland in
1846. Dennis, Alice and four Finnigan children, Barney, Patrick, Philip and Mary then
appeared in the Cleveland, Ohio census in 1850. I then followed them through the census
and Cleveland city directory until their deaths in 1882 and 1890. Probably no connection
but I thought I'd try.

Subject: [CALLAGHAN] Callaghans from Ireland
I'm researching my CALLAGHANs who moved from Ireland to
Lancashire,
England during the famine (around 1852).
I would like to hear from anyone else who has Callaghans (or similar) who
moved to England.
Regards
Tim Callaghan
