Here's a link to the address of St. Bridget's address in the Archdiocese of
Philadelphia. I just read an article that it's Princess Grace (Grace Kelly') old
parish. She was from Philadelphia.

I've had great success with writing to Catholic Churches in Brooklyn --- which is
where my Callahans are from.
Good luck.

Message Board Post:
My Great Grandfather Thomas H Callaghan (b 25 Jan 1867) emigrated to America about 1887/8.
I have a poor copy of his declaration to become a Bona Fide citizen of the USA dated 08
Sep 1888. The declaration was signed and sealed in the State of Pennsylvania in the City
and County of Philadelphia, ss. Does anyone know if I can obtain a better copy of this
document and any further deatils about it?
Also I have a poor copy of Thomas Callaghan's marraige certificate to a Mary Haran
(Harran) on 05 Oct 1892. The marraige certificate states that the Church was St Bridgets
Church, Falls of Schuylkill, Philadelphia. Can anyone please tell me if this Church still
exists and how I may be able to obtain a true copy of the marraige certificate? I would
apprecaite any help whatsoever.
Many thanks Tony Callaghan
