Hi everyone. I'm new to the list and would like to post my CALLAGHANS:

My gggrandfather, Charles CALLAGHAN, b circa 1860 Ireland. Married Ellen

Charles died in Dec 1893 in NYC.
Their children:

Married Anna Marie JOHNSON in Brooklyn NY. Their children: Hazel, Lawrence,
Agnes, Edward, Christopher, Daniel, Eugene.

4. Catherine CALLAGHAN, b 1886, New York City d 1908, Brooklyn NY. Married
George Samuel GLEASON. I don't know if there are any children. I just
discovered her!
My ggrandmother Ellen married William COOGAN in 1896 after Charles' death.
They moved to Brooklyn and had 3 children:
1. Chris COOGAN, b 1897 Bklyn NY d 1898 Bklyn NY.
2. Johanna/Hannah COOGAN, b 1898 Bklyn NY, d 1930 Bklyn NY. Married Anthony
POSEY. Their children: Anthony, William, Charles, Eleanor, Florence.

3. Lillian COOGAN, b 1900 Bklyn NY. Married David PAYNE. Their children:
Lillian, Gloria.
Ellen died in 1903 in Brooklyn. I presume that William COOGAN was dead by
1910, since the kids were then back with the CALLAGHANS.
I'm sorry this was so long. I'm at a brick wall right now with my Callaghans
and hope someone may recognize one of the related branches.
Thank you for your patience.
Tracy
