I have an ancestor named Cormack Callaghan (b. 1846) who was the son of a Patrick Callaghan (spouse unknonw). This Callaghan family shared land (per Griffiths Valuation of 1857) with a Patrick Lavin, Owen Callaghan, Martin Weir and Michael Noland. There were often marriages between children of joint tenants. In my case, my ancestor Cormack married the daughter of joint tenant Martin Weir.

I believe your grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. I saw my brothers and sisters yesterday (there are seven of us) and they were very interested your postings. If you don't mind, I will forward these emails to them for their review. They corrected some of my information. My grandfather was from Ferrymont (sp?), County Roscommon, not French Park. Also I remember my father telling me that his Uncle Cormack (your grandfather) played the flute at parties. I also believe he worked on the streetcars in Chicago. Finally, my sister remined me of a woman named Kitty Corcoran. I don't remember her, but I remember her name. I'm the second youngest in my family. My older sisters have more information than I do.
My siblings and I all live in the Chicago area. Where are you located?
