You are bidding on Colonist Fathers, Corporate Sons - A Selective History of
the Call Family by Howard M. Carlisle. The book was published in 1996. It is
a hardcover edition that is 267 pages in length, including illustrations and
index. The book details the ancestors and descendants of Anson Call
(1810-1890), an early Mormon and acquaintance of Brigham Young. Anson, who
descended from Thomas Call (1597-1696), an early English settler of
Charlestown, Mass, practiced polygamy and had children by six wives.
As the life story of Anson and his descendants, many Mormons, is told so is
the history of those communities they lived in. These communities included
Bountiful and Woods Cross, both in Davis County, Utah. Here is a list of the
