The john Calhoun that you are referring too is not the John C. Calhoun in my
genealogy
there were 4 brothers in NC at the same time my ancestor was in NC the
brothers some of them migrated to Ga. In the library part of Family Tree
Maker .com there is a book that was written in the 1950's on the
Colquhoun/Calhoun family in NC it included a small chapter on my family but
the too families were not kin that I have been able too prove.

Surname: Calhoun
-------------------------
Do you have a link to John Calhoun, Sr. (not VP) who had sons named
Guilford,
Bluford, Cleveland,Sanford, and John Jr.? They all fought in the
Civil
War. Home was in Ga, but fought for VA.
I just saw Miles Calhoun listed for a marriage. I don't remember the site,
date, or to whom. Check Cyndi's list or RootsWeb.
