Leonard "Buddy" Mobley, age 66 of Ola, died Saturday, February 21, 2009, at his
home.
Born October 24, 1942, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Taylor Rufus
and Willie Mae Calhoun Mobley. He was a member of the Army National Guard and a
carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rita McNeer, Ann Dodson; and a
son-in-law, Benjamin Whitted.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Betty Warren Mobley of Dardanelle; three
sons and daughter-in-law, Grady Mobley of Arkadelphia, Tommy and Wendy Mobley of
Donaldson, Ar., Taylor Mobley of Dardanelle, Ar.; a daughter, Nancy Whitted of Dardanelle;
three sisters, Mary Stevens, Geneva Ables, and Virginia Hearn, all of Mississippi; seven
grandchildren, Austin Summer, and Timothy Mobley of Arkadelphia, T.J. and Sabrina McGarry
of Donaldson, Zachary Whitted and Jacob Evenson of Dardanelle.
Graveside funeral will be today, Wednesday, February 25, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Carlon
Cemetery in Logan County.
Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
