Ken - Thanks so much for your reply. I am very interested in this person you mention
because although I have seen her before, all the census records indicate that my Sarah F
Calhoun was born in 1829/1830, and I have verifiable records that she married Morris in
1859, was in LA in 1860, and died of consumption in October 1869 in Louisiana.
Do we have the same people or is this two different persons?
Do you have any documents for her after her birth? Any marriage info before 1859?
Thanks SOOOO much,
Diane

She married second to A Dr. Allen P. Morris 3 Jan 1859 and they had two

I am looking for any info on Sarah F Calhoun, born 1830 in GA, parents and
sibs unknown. Shes been MY brick wall for years.
She takes up with a Mr Robinson (and possibly also his brother according to
some stories) and has three kids: Mary Robinson b1850 GA, Emma Calhoun
Robinson born late1851 GA, and Walter John Robinson b1857 GA.
Unknown what happened to her husband Dr or Mr Robinson.
In 1859 she marries Dr. Allen P. Morris in Montogomery AL. He may have been
a business partner of her husband Mr or Dr Robinson. (His assumed first name
is Walter.)
In 1860 the combined family is in Louisinana with Dr Morris family.
Sarah has two Morris children James b1860/early 1861 and a daughter: Sarah
Frances Morris who may have gone as "Fannie."
Sarah Frances Calhoun Robinson Morris dies in Louisiana in Oct 1869.
1870- Allen P Morris (listed as a farmer) lives alone next door to the
children in LA. In childrens household, Mary Robinson is head and stepson
Walter is missing from records.
By 1880 all Morris and Robinsons are in Texas, except Mary Robinson
whereabouts and marriage/name info unknown.
I have no absolute info on Sarah Francis Calhoun. Can anyone place this
woman, supposedly born1830 in GA???
