Ireland, 1733, with wife Catherine Montgomery, one daughter Catherine,

sons: James, Ezekiel, Patrick, William. They settled in Pennsylvania and
thence to Wythe Co. VA on the Kanawha River and were dirven away by the
Indians after Braddocks defeat and settled in Abbeville SC, 1756. In
1760
James and his mother (Catherine Montgomery Calhoun) were killed by
Indians.
Later Patrick Calhoun was appointed to defend the Frontier from the
Indians
and Torries.

subscribers, heirs, and devicess of Thomas Futrell, deceased, do

constitute, and appoint Levi Lancaster, a trustee and lawful trustee in
