I've "rescued" an old photograph of Myrtle Mahala RICHARDSON which was
taken
at the Campion Studio in Spokane, Washington. The photograph appears to
have been taken in the early 1900's with Myrtle identified as 14 months old
at the time it was taken. In addition to her name and age, some has written
"Cousin Mike" and "from" on the back of the photograph indicating that
the
photograph was likely a gift to Mike.
Based on limited research and thanks to the help of a RICHARDSON Family
Researcher I was able to gather the following information:
Myrtle Mahala RICHARDSON b. 8 Mar 1908 in WA to parents George Thomas
RICHARDSON (b. 1876 in Rochester, England) and Tilda Bertina "Edna" JORE (b.
23 Nov 1886 in Walsh Co., ND). Myrtle 1st married Jerry CALHOUN and
together they had two children, her second marriage was to Dallas MENEAR.
Myrtle died 13 Mar 1994 in Sequim, WA.
The reference to "Cousin Mike" appears to refer to Mike GAY whose Mother
Lena JORE GAY was a sister to Tilda JORE RICHARDSON. I am hoping to be able
to return the photograph to a member of her family. If you are a member of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
