Way back in Mecklenburg Co. NC there was a George Calhoun and wife
Elizabeth in a deed executed 12 Jan 1775. Some people say her name was
Elizabeth Wilson and they had children Samuel , Charles and George
Calhoun, and maybe Wilson Calhoun. I can't verify any of this but it is
likely Charles and George Calhoun married the daughters of Zaccheus
Wilson who died around 1797 in Oglethorpe County, GA. George Calhoun
and Charles Calhoun both died in Williamson County, TN, I believe.
George Calhoun married Margaret Wilson and Charles married Ann Wilson.
Do you know which couple were were the the parents of Zacheus Calhoun
born ca 1813 TN who was the Methodist Minister on the 1850 census of
Marshall County, TN? I'm very interested in the Wilsons who lived in
Marshall and Williamson County TN and seems I often run into the
Calhouns there.
